The Revere 9363 is a precision universal tension load cell crafted from durable stainless steel and sealed to the robust IP67 standard. Installation

Mount the Revere 9363 tension/universal load cell perfectly aligned in the force direction, whether in tension or for universal applications. Use industry-standard hardware—such as rod ends or eye bolts—to connect to the cell’s threaded holes, and ensure both mounts are level for accurate measurement. The stainless steel build provides long-term protection, but take care to avoid direct weld currents or cable damage during installation. For multi-cell applications, ensure all load cells are set at equal heights and orientations to guarantee proper load distribution.

Loading

For best accuracy, apply force directly along the cell’s axis (tension), using the specified threaded holes for both ends. The symmetrical design ensures minimal error under static or dynamic loading. Avoid any side loading, bending, or torque, as these may affect measurement accuracy. The load cell features a high safe overload and ultimate safety factor, ensuring reliable operation in challenging weighing and force monitoring scenarios like suspended hoppers and cranes.
