Celltec BSR2 Introduction
The Celltec BSR2 is a compact and reliable single ended bending beam load cell, designed for precise industrial weighing in demanding environments. Manufactured from stainless steel and sealed to IP68, the BSR2 delivers excellent resistance against moisture, dust, and aggressive conditions. Its low‑profile design and clean mechanical construction make this loadcell well suited for continuous weighing systems such as belt scales and loss‑in‑weight feeders, where stability and repeatability are critical.
Installation
The Celltec BSR2 should be installed as a single fixed beam, with one end rigidly mounted to a stable base and the load applied at the designated loading point. Ensure mounting surfaces are flat and rigid to prevent deformation. Proper bolt torque and alignment are essential for accurate operation. In belt or feeder systems, the beam must be free to deflect naturally without mechanical interference. Avoid welding currents or excessive heat near the load cell during installation.
Loading
The applied load should be vertical and centered to the specified loading area of the beam. Although the BSR2 is designed for high mechanical durability, uneven loading, torsion, or side forces should be minimized to maintain long‑term accuracy. Gradual loading improves measurement stability, especially in dynamic systems such as conveyors and feeders.
