Celltec BSA Introduction
The Celltec BSA is a robust single ended (bending beam) load cell designed for accurate and stable industrial weighing. Manufactured from high‑quality stainless steel and sealed to IP68, the BSA offers excellent protection against moisture, wash‑down conditions, and harsh industrial environments. Its low‑profile and anti‑explosion design makes this loadcell especially suitable for applications in food processing, material handling, and continuous process weighing systems where hygiene, durability, and reliability are essential.
Installation
The Celltec BSA should be mounted as a single ended beam, with one side rigidly fixed to the structure and the load applied at the designated load point. Ensure the mounting surface is flat and rigid to avoid mechanical distortion. Correct bolt torque and proper alignment are critical for long‑term stability. In pallet scales or hopper installations, the free end of the beam must be allowed to deflect naturally without obstruction. Avoid welding currents or mechanical stress near the sensor body during installation.
Loading
For accurate measurement, the load must be applied vertically and centered at the specified loading area of the beam. Uneven loading or excessive torsion should be avoided, even though the BSA’s stainless steel construction provides high mechanical strength. In dynamic applications such as pallet handling or overhead track systems, gradual load introduction improves measurement stability and extends service life.
