Description

Flintec MHT2 Button Force Sensor

The Flintec MHT2 is a series of miniature force transducers engineered for high-capacity compression force measurement in demanding industrial environments.

  • Design & Application: Features a low profile, small diameter design, allowing for easy embedding into machinery and test equipment. It is ideal for packaging machinery, assembly machinery, and end-of-line test equipment.
  • Technology: Utilizes advanced full-bridge, bonded foil strain gauge technology, delivering excellent long-term stability and consistent high performance, even in applications requiring over 1 million load cycles.
  • Construction: Built entirely from durable stainless steel and protected from moisture with an epoxy bonded cover. This provides environmental protection rated to IP64.
  • Capacity & Output: Offers a range of standard high capacities, from 500kg up to 5000kg, to suit demanding application needs. The output sensitivity is 1.5mV/V (±20%) across all capacities.

Differentiators:

  • High Accuracy: Provides reliable measurements with a maximum total error of ±0.8% Full Scale (FS).
  • Temperature Resilience: Compensated for temperature variations from -15°C to +71°C, ensuring accuracy across a range of operating conditions.
  • Robust Construction: Full stainless-steel construction enhances durability for challenging environments.
  • Integration Flexibility: Can be supplied with standard cable configurations or industry-standard connectors.
  • Smart Sensor Option: Available as a TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) enabled smart transducer, featuring an on-board memory chip storing manufacturing and calibration data for easier system integration.
