The Flintec Q50 is a high-performance compression load cell designed to meet the most demanding industrial weighing needs, especially in sectors where hygiene, durability, and precision are critical. This load cell is purpose-built for compression-only applications and is a perfect solution for industries like food processing, chemical manufacturing, and pharmaceutical production, where clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) protocols are essential.

The Q50 features a low-profile, compact design that facilitates easy installation in tight spaces without compromising capacity or accuracy. Its smooth, electro-polished stainless steel surfaces eliminate wells or crevices where contaminants could collect, supporting stringent hygienic standards. The entire structure is hermetically sealed by laser welding, providing IP68 and IP69K protection. This ensures resistance against dust, water immersion up to 2 meters, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, making the Q50 suitable for the harshest cleaning procedures.

The Q50 load cell is manufactured from high-grade 17-4 PH stainless steel (material no. 1.4548), offering superior strength, corrosion resistance, and durability in aggressive environments. The load cell is calibrated in millivolts per volt per ohm (mV/V/Ω) with a full-scale rated output (RO) of 2 ± 0.1 mV/V, ensuring minimal variation between load cells, which simplifies the task of edge-balancing in multi-load cell systems using junction boxes.
