Loading
Correct mechanical installation is essential to achieve optimum accuracy and load cell life:
1- Install the load cell on a flat, rigid, and level foundation.
2- Ensure that the applied load is transferred vertically and centrally onto the loading surface.
3- The rocker column design allows limited lateral movement; recommended installation gaps must be respected.
4- Avoid side loads, torsional forces, and excessive bending moments.
5- Use compatible mounting hardware and accessories specifically designed for RC‑series load cells.

Wiring
The Flintec RC3 compression load cell is supplied with a fully sealed industrial cable and uses a standard 4‑wire strain gauge configuration, typical for heavy‑duty compression load cells.
4‑Wire Connection
- Input (+) — Excitation + Green

- Output (+) — Signal +White
- Output (–) — Signal –Red
- Shield — Ground (connected at indicator side only)
